An internal inspection of the loft is always advised as sometimes you come across steel frame construction which can be refused for mortgage by some lenders, and hence restrict the saleability of a property in the future.
This construction is quite common around Tendring (Clacton, Frinton and surrounding areas). We always inspect loft spaces on our Level 2 (Homebuyers) and 3 (Building Survey) RICS Home Surveys, and we have been working in and around Clacton for over 30 years.
